The European Commission's "Ding Dong" communication campaign proposes to work on sustainable development in 5 themes: (1) Housing/Construction; (2) Production/Consumption; (3) Nature Protection; (4) Travel; (5) Food. For each module: definition of the theme, European response, examples of projects and good practices, challenges for young people to "solve" the problem locally.

This theme sets out to investigate the broad definition of human rights, assesses the links and clashes between rights and responsibilities. European, global and historical examples will be used to guide learners trough an exploration of the topic. It includes respect for other peoples’ rights , conflict between cultural practices and human rights, and whether the removal of rights in certain situations can be justified.
